Wagtail Class 11/10/2024

We have had another great week here in Wagtail Class. This week in literacy we have been looking at the story, 'Goldilocks and the Three Bears'. The children have been recalling parts of the story and have been using pictures to sequence the story. They have really enjoyed all creative activities linked to this theme.

In maths, we have been looking at weight. The children have enjoyed weighing a variety of different objects and have been developing their mathematic vocabulary. They have been using the words; 'same', 'heavy', 'light' and 'equal'.

The children have also been practising to write their names using magnetic letters, they have really enjoyed this.

In phonics, we have learnt out next set of sounds, the children have done an amazing job of
practising to write these on their whiteboards. I have allocated some new games on bug club for home learning. I hope you are enjoying using this resource at home.

Finally, we have had so much fun during wake and shake this week. I introduced the children to 'Agadoo and the Conga'. They have absolutely loved this!
