Goldfinch Class 29/11/2024

Another busy week in Goldfinch Class. In maths we have been working hard on money. We have shown we can count in pence and pounds. We have also solved problems on this. In English we have been looking at Traditional tales. We have focussed on answering questions about what we have read, creating story boards and then using this to orally re-tell the story. The children have really impressed me this week with their partner work in English as they have been able to discuss well what they have read and their thoughts about the stories. In Geography we worked hard to create a poster about Mexico using the knowledge that we have learnt so far. In PSHE we learnt how to wash our hands correctly and when we should do this. Finally, in Design Technology we started our Mexican Taco project. We focussed this week on healthy eating and balanced diet.
