Goldfinch Class 20/06/25

What an exciting and busy week in Goldfinch class. We arrived on Monday to discovered lots of footprints had been left in the classroom. We had visitors. We had to use an animal identification key to work out who they belonged to. We discovered that one was unidentified. The next day that animal had gone missing in the school so we wrote wanted posters to encourage the rest of the school to help us find the missing animal. We had a fantastic time in the planetarium today. Thank-you PTFA for funding it. In maths we have been doing lots of position and direction work. Part of this involved being on the chrome books to guide the turtle around the screen using directions. We also used the beebots to practice direction and using directional language. Finally, our caterpillars have turned into chrysalis. Now to wait for the butterflies.
