Wagtail Class 20/06/24

Wow, what another fabulous week we have had here in Wagtails. In literacy, we have been looking at the story, 'The Snail and the Whale'. The children loved using the chalks outside to attempt to write about the story, using their knowledge of phonics. What wonderful writing Wagtails! In maths, we have been learning all about prepositional language. The children have explored this using teddies and toys from in and around the classroom. In RE this week, we shared the story about Jesus healing a man with leprosy. The children were then encouraged to think about a time where they had helped someone. They then produced a beautiful piece of writing and a super drawing to go with this. We have finished our week with an amazing opportunity to explore the mobile planetarium. This was truly incredible. The photos do not do it justice. All children loved this and were so engaged, it was a really lovely experience, where so much fun was had by all. We have even managed to squeeze in a birthday celebration this week. Have wonderful weekend Wagtails, from Mrs Slade
