Pipits Class 10/01/2025

Pipits have had a fantastic first week back and have fully emersed themselves into our new topic which is Superheroes in our Community. We have enjoyed reading the story 'Charlie the Firefighter' and have done some brilliant labelling in our adult led writing. In Maths we have enjoyed playing some number games and re-capped our 2d shapes. In provision we have enjoyed exploring our new vets role play area, lots of poorly animals have been helped and we've had receptionists answering the phone and typing on the keyboards - all very helpful! The children have amazed us this week by having a go at writing CVC words all by themselves in provision - super phonics Pipits! Our author for this half term is Sue Hendra and the children have already enjoyed several different stories written by her.
