Puffin Class 20/09/2024

Puffins have had a fantastic start to the year. We have had lots of fun being creative. We made our own pebble fish to match our writing in English. We had to describe how we would make the right choice and look after the environment. Then we spent time writing kind sentences about our friends and creating a card for them. These will go on display in the classroom so we can look at them when we need a confidence boost! We have also been using our logical brains and solving place value problems. We have enjoyed using the equipment to split numbers into 10s and 1s. Finally, we really enjoyed creating clay pots. The aim is to practise our clay skills so we can create a house tile linked to our work on The Great Fire of London.
