We have had a lovely week in Goldfinch class.
In English we have been looking at bird poetry and getting creative with language to describe their movements in preparation for writing some poetry next week. We have found poetic language and also compared poems.
In maths we have continued to go over key learning from the year to consolidate our knowledge. This week we have recapped fractions and time.
In art, we created a piece of work from the printing we did earlier in the term. We also spent some time finishing all the wonderful creative map work that we have been working on.
In Geography, we have written a letter to a councillor about things we would like to improve in Somerton. We also worked really hard on a leaflet about our local area.
We also spent time in music looking at pattern songs and tapping beats.
