It has been a busy week here in Wagtail Class, we have packed so many wonderful activities into our week. At the start of the week the children made some 'Mother's Day' cards and I have to say, they look fabulous!
In RE, we have been learning all about our Christian School Value, Eco-friendly and how we can play an important role in looking after our planet. We transformed into Eco-Warriors and went on a litter picking hunt around the school field. The children thoroughly enjoyed this and did a wonderful job of collecting lots of litter.
In Maths, we have been learning all about the numbers '9' and '10'. The children practised forming the numbers correctly and have also worked on their counting and representation skills.
Our warm up in PE this week was 'Oops upside your head', this was so much fun! The children then went on to practise their balancing and coordination skills.
We have absolutely loved 'World Book Day' this week. The children all looked amazing, they enjoyed making bookmarks, and enjoyed other various themed activities. Our Year 3 buddy class, Merlins came to share their books with the Wagtails, this was so lovely.
We have even managed to squeeze in a birthday celebration!
Well-done on another fabulous week of fun and learning Wagtails, you really are amazing superstars. Have a lovely weekend from, Mrs Slade :)
