Wagtail Class have had a super busy week this week. In RE, we introduced the Christmas Story. The children really enjoyed this. We then transferred our knowledge of this into our Literacy and the children drew some fabulous 'Christmas Story Maps'. They spent a long time labelling their maps and practising to retell the story using their pictures. Some children also chose to sequence their own Christmas stories using four pictures from our provision. They blew my socks off!
In Maths we have been practising to order numbers to 5,10 and 20. We have also been practising to count carefully and accurately by counting various different objects. The children were amazing at this!
We also had lots of fun during our 'All About Me' topic outcome day. The children participated in lots of different activities that celebrated their similarities and differences. They enjoyed completing puzzles of their faces. They even made 'All About Me' clouds. We finished our day with a drink of milk and a biscuit. Well done, Wagtails, another super week!
