We have had a jam-packed fun week here in Wagtail Class. We were lucky enough to have a visit from Beth Webb, the author of the story, 'The Junkyard Dragon'. This was so much fun. The children loved listening to Beth share her story and thoroughly enjoyed supporting the repeated refrains with musical instruments.
We have also embraced 'show and tell' this week. The children enjoyed sharing; recent achievements, losing a tooth and a special ring.
We have even celebrated a birthday!
The children had a wonderful time on transition morning, meeting their new teachers and spending time in their new classrooms. This was lovely to see.
Finally, Mrs White and I also had a lovely morning on transition morning, meeting our new Wagtail children. They all had such a wonderful time and painted the most amazing self-portraits for our class welcome board. Well done new Wagtails.
