It has been another fun week here in Wagtail class. We have focussed our literacy on the story of 'Goldilocks and the Three Bears'. We thought it would be lovely to start the week by making and eating our own porridge. The children really enjoyed their porridge, especially with some jam and fruit.
The children have also written 'sorry' letters to the three bears from Goldilocks and have done a great job of getting into character.
In maths, the children have been building numbers from 11-20 using the numicon plates and have been practising to write their numbers, some have even had a go at writing number equations using their numicon plates.
The children have also enjoyed playing snakes and ladders with Mrs White, helping to practise their counting, sharing and turn-taking skills.
We have also celebrated a birthday this week with our musical birthday hat!
