Wagtail Class 07/06/24

Wow, what a super fun-filled week we have had here in Wagtail Class. This week in literacy we have been focussing on the story,  'The Snail and the Whale'. The children have loved all supporting activities and have made some amazing whales using paper plates. In maths we have been consolidating our knowledge of doubles, using buttons and tweezers and have also been learning about odd and even numbers. The children have also been exploring number bonds to 5 using numicon. They really have been super mathematicians this week.

There have also been some amazing 'show and tells'. Well done boys for being brave enough to share with everyone the amazing things you have been doing with your families at home. Thank you so much for sharing these lovely pictures with us.

We are very much looking forward to our sports day this afternoon. I just know you will all be amazing. Well done on a fabulous week of learning Wagtail Class, have a lovely weekend. From Mrs Slade
