Goldfinch Class 07/07/2023

In Goldfinch Class this week we had great fun with clay again. We had to make a clay tile and use the techniques that we have been learning about: score and slip to add clay and making marks on the clay. We used a range of items to press into the clay such as dice, spoons, cotton reels. We then used this knowledge to design a clay tile to look like a house. We will be making this in a couple of weeks.

In maths we have been practising a range of maths skills by doing some maths escape rooms. In science we have looked at how to keep teeth healthy and have set up an experiment with eggs in different liquids to see what could happen to our teeth if we had a lot of these liquids and did not clean our teeth.
