Wagtail Class 17/05/24

It has been an exciting week here in Wagtail Class. Our butterflies hatched last weekend and we have been busy looking after them prior to their release. This week, the children have enjoyed releasing them into the flowers on the school field. I was so impressed with how gentle and patient the children were. Well done Wagtail Class, we have learnt so much about the cycle of a butterfly and can now complete our butterfly diary. 

In literacy, we have been looking at the story 'The Three Little Pigs'. The children have loved all of the supporting activities, particularly; 'huffing' and 'puffing' paint through straws. We have had another fabulous week and you have been the best butterfly detectives- top work!
