Wagtail Class 19/01/2024

It has been another jam-packed week here in Wagtails. In maths, the children have been learning all about mass and capacity and have really enjoyed exploring; weight, also filling and emptying different sized pots and containers. They have loved exploring the coloured water. In RE, we have learnt all about 'Infant Baptism' and the things that we would expect to see in the church during this time. Some children chose to make a cross and a font during exploring for learning time. We have also learnt about the role of dentists and the importance of looking after our teeth. This has fed beautifully into our literacy tasks and the children have enjoyed all supporting activities. In music, we have learnt some new songs and ring games. We have also been practising to follow some simple instructions. The children have loved playing 'Simon Says'.
