Robin Class 24/03/2023

This week in Robin Class we have finally planted out our potatoes! Hopefully, they haven't got too waterlogged over the past few days and fingers crossed they will produce a great crop for us to try! In science this week, we have set up a cress experiment and we are waiting to see whether the amount of water and light a plant receives changes how much it grows! In art we are well on our way to creating our final Frida Kahlo piece - the backgrounds are done - we cannot wait to see the final pieces, they are going to be incredible! In RE this week, we have looked at the Easter Story again and recreated parts of it using pebbles and sticks. The children enjoyed this activity and talked about how people would be feeling at this time. In English we have been writing poems and the class have used some amazing vocabulary and in maths we have been continuing to work on our measuring skills. What a fun filled week!
